Bored, kind of annoyed by the presumption that anyone can find a rich friend to lend them spare land in this economy. I'm lucky to sit in a park, I saved for 4 years to take a year off and camp in free national parks in a 20 year old van and even then I was picking fruit to sustain myself.
Appreciate the impact of civil disobedience and that he took this time to also write that. Lucky for the graphic novel of this.

I doubt I'll ever finish this. Unappealing, verbose. Heard style changes every chapter so made it to #2 but the voice is the same, not for me.

It's confronting and relatable in a painful way that is making me sick. Took me this many pages to realise I can just stop reading and do some yoga and the bad feeling might go back away. Read the last 3 pages, the tone isn't changing. Don't know if I have the stomach to keep going. Don't think I'll get anything like solidarity or whatever if I do. Just anger.

I'm going to love this. As unbelievable as the creatures it's named for
