I’m really struggling with this one; yet again questioning the integrity of Booktok hype 🥴
It’s just so…cookie cutter. The worldbuilding is atrocious. I have no sense of the kingdom size, the magic system has potential but is so lazily executed that it’s stupid. There’s not a single memorable character aside from Rorrick so far. Honestly he’s the only reason I’m hanging in there and not DNFing this
