So I’m halfway through, and I cannot understand why people don’t like this book? As far as I can tell, it’s a well-researched, beautifully rounded biography. I love Jane and I wish I had her courage to write a diary like no one will ever read it.

Apparently I have an unquenchable thirst for the nostalgia I derive from Riordan’s writing - so much so that I started reading this series despite never having touched it when I was younger.

I’m concurrently reading ”The Bell Jar” by Sylvia Plath which is extremely morbid, so the almost naivistic and adventuroud prose offerd by Kane’s Chronicles is balancing me out emotionally 🥲
