Reading this together with the original 1984. It’s great to have a perspective of both characters of the 1984 universe. It’s fascinating to see how in that universe, words are simplified and movements / thinking is tightly regulated.

Half way through, the learnings and the scenarios are something to reflect on, even if you are not in US (it’s heavily referring to white supremacy) and I am starting to introspective of how we treat foreigners / people of different color/ race who are based in my own country. Major race supremacy, that’s unspoken. This book dig deep in so many angles
