Done with book 3! Ready for Echidna

Finished "book" 2! I think this is even more enjoyable a second time around; some of the editing issues feel less glaring and the massive plot feels easier to ride along with (I am bummed there's no way to count these all as separate books bc this shit is SO LONG)

Working my way through the slaughterhouse nine arcs and my GOD i forgot just how terrifying Bonesaw is (reading this while watching Dragula aka I'm really back in my body horror era I guess)

Finished the first 8 arcs which I'm guessing is roughly 10% of the series?? I forgot how good the interludes are and also how terrifying Coil is because what do you MEAN what do you mean

ugh the Leviathan fight is so good - I'm realizing on rereading this how much of this series I still think about on a regular basis, and this fight is a big part of that

45% through book one and I can't stop thinking about how Tattletale and Kaz from Six of Crows would be the best colleagues of all time IF they didn't kill each other on day one (also Regent I love you; they don't get you but I do)

Pls I had to split this into EIGHT separate book files to make this behemoth (wink wink) make sense. So I'm 17% through book one and probably 2% through the whole thing 😅

this is the best first 50 pages of a book I've read in a LONG TIME; if the rest of this holds up I've got a new favorite in the works
