Some rules and morals of the universe of my book are that the syndics are bad and should always be hated and the alliance fleet is better and vise versa for each military. Another moral is the laws of the war there fighting and the fact that they still treat prisoners and captured people fairly similar to today how we have conventions and other meetings to prevent unnecessary suffering in war.

I am reading the lost fleet relentless and it has a genre of fiction but more specifically science fiction and war because it is a war fought in space.

One symbolic thing I found in my book was when Captain desjani was telling Geary that he had been asleep and in a cryogenic state for 99 year. The number ninety nine is important because it represents the time passed and also it represents destiny which is important because John Geary woke up and is destined to end the war between the syndic fleets.

I made a connection in my book when the crews of the fleets captain Geary was commanding all wanted to go home and especially captain desjani. I related this to the events going on in the world regarding covid-19 and people not wanting to work for fears of catching the virus.

My book is the continuation of the lost fleet series. Captain Geary is the hero and legend of the alliance fleet and before he was commanding small ships but now, he is in charge of an entire fleet and needs to help them escape. Captain black jack has earned respect from his officers and they recognize him as a man with confidence pride and determination and believe he will get them home

My sci fi novel is a character driven story. My story is driven by the decisions of the character admiral Geary. The book series is decided by his actions in leading the alliance fleet.

My book’s story archetype is mainly overcome the monster because the alliance fleet, which is the earths fleet, is fighting and defending its self from the syndic fleets and trying to defeat them through out the series.

A significant moment that happened in my group was when the insurgents invaded the city of Ramadi. This event was what caused a lot of the conflict to arise in the book and create tension between the two sides. This event also caused the militaries colliding to try to take this city

The setting of my book takes place in Afghanistan and iraq in the countries combat zones. The time of the book is from roughly 2000 to 2011. A specific event was in 2004 kennedy( not the president) led an 800 man battalion into the Iraq city of Ramadi

The conflict in my story is characters vs characters. The conflict in the story is United States marines fighting Afghanistan’s Taliban in 2001. I chose characters vs characters because it was multiple countries and people fighting the Taliban comprised of tons of troops themselves

The main static character in my book is the antagonist who’s name is Mohamed Farrah Adid's. Adid is a Somalian military leader who stays fairly static to his warlord ways by consistently sending terrorist forces at the United States military. Since this character is a villain he tends to stay static through out the book

My book is structured towards adults and possibly soldiers because it is military related and shows the extent and intensity of fighting terrorists in Africa. This intensity of war might not appeal to younger kids because they can’t really connect to the characters. The book should appeal to teens and adults. The readers can be veterans or people who love war books.

The character traits I chose were about Baxter. Baxter is a leader but also tough and likes to project authority. Baxter is very tough and a leader by doing things independently and helping his group out.

The tension of my book is the main characters vs the aliens. The aliens are these biologically designed predators that are perfect for hunting. The book is really tense for the reason that the Aliens hide in the dark and are very stealthy. The author portrays the tension by Having the characters running through corridors and through the base

The sympathetic character in my book it probably Lachance the pilot of the mining ship because in the book it states he gets stressed and unhappy very rarely and is genuinely in a good mood. The unsympathetic character in my book is not really a character more a species or entity which is the xenomorphs who prey on pretty much anything.

The protagonist and main character in my book is captain Geary( Black jack). The Antagonist is the enemy military that he and his military and fleets are trying to defeat. Some textual references are the fact that the characters keep saying and describing them being pressured by the enemy and that the war is causing thousands of deaths.

The genre of a book is determined by the setting and the characters of the book. My book Lost fleet Dauntless, takes place in space with aliens and with advanced technology, therefore is sci-fi. The characters also play a role in a genre. In My book the characters are all space navy officers which definitely doesn’t exist today but exists in the future. My genre according to the evidence is considered a sci-fi book
