Slow first 30%

Slow burn. Can see the pieces adding up but waiting for the drop.

It’s like she’s getting royalties for how many times she can say “F***” and “Love Island”.
The main characters attitude is a bother.

Ehh. Just working to get through it.

The first part was slow going. Characters on the fun from their feelings. But in true KH fashion, the beauty of our humanness and raw emotions is done pretty well. KH has had some beautiful sentences and paragraphs as we get into the meat of the story.

Meredith is irritating. Really hoping the story picks up more with the mom and sister than Meredith. I’m tired of her side.

Slowly unraveling, I’m wondering if I have guessed how this ends.

Gosh. This story is so well written.

Parts of this book are emotionally hard to read.

A good story so far.

It’s starting to get interesting, the first half has been rather elementary.

….reads like a YA. I don’t feel I’ll be surprised as the story goes, but we’ll see.
