so much has happened in this book, feels like multiple lifetimes. how am I less than halfway through?

I already know I’m going to like this so much more than my last read, thank God

genuinely did not start enjoying this until chapter 10 (90+ pages in). i’ve been procrastinating reading with other activities simply because i didn’t want to read this 💀 but now i like it enough to finish it at least. i anticipate 2-3 stars.

why do i feel like i’m suffering through this book…
