Nice concept but zero characterisation (so far?) and it's very tell, tell, telling. I'm really only at 16% because the story doesn't start until 10% (the first 10% is ToC, Author intro, and other such information that usually sits at the back of a book. I couldn't try Look Inside or a sample first because the story starts after the 10% cut-off. I'm going to try another chapter to see if it gets any better.

Not my usual kind of book (I'm into sci-fi as a rule) but the blurb enticed me. I've had a few LOL moments already and looking forward to reading the rest.

Really enjoying this book so far. It's well written, has some interesting characters, and there is lots of intrigue going on.

Really good book so far. Loving the multi-pov and the fact that the science in this story is informative rather than overwhelming (learning a few things about how not to deal with an asteroid too). It's well written, engaging, and there's a book two waiting for me when I finish this one.

Really enjoying this. The first chapter isn't my preferred form of narration but the concept is too interesting to let a little thing like personal preferences get in the way. The set up is very good (a little close to 'the now', perhaps(?) and has an interesting premise. It's going to be interesting to see how this one pans out.

Read the sample so far (just purchased the book to continue). Great set-up, intriging start. Pretty sure I'll enjoy this book.

First few pages were a bit choppy, but once the setting/background was a little clearer, it turned into a great first chapter, and loved the second chapter.

#Equivocal Destines has a descriptive start, but everything moves the story forward, while allowing me to visualise the entire town/city. Loving the MC and I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next.

This is really, really, good. One of the best mainstream books I've read in a very long time. Historic (WWI) and local area to where I currently live.
