i wanna cry out of frustrations

i would totally hate the ML had i not watched the adaptation lol ily jing boran

reading this makes me appreciate the cdrama adaptation more. not because the book is bad, but the show made the pacing smoother and more dramatic and romantic (plus jing boran for making luan nian so lovable)

on the other hand, the book is showing me scenes and details that couldn’t squeeze into the show which are is great

no one is trustworthy

I’m having so much fun with this book. I love a daddy-daughter moments but I’m still halfway through the book… I’m not ready for more heartbreaking scenes 😭
