This book is hilarious!! I am having the best time reading this.

"I cannot speak for the communists. Majdanek showed us only man's inhumanity to man- this is what man sometimes does with the free will God have him. If God made all men good, it wouldn't be called free will, would it? And finally it's not science's place to show us if there is a God behind the universe."

What's going to happen to my Tatia and Shura? I don't think my heart can take it.

I am really enjoying this one so far.

I am taking my time with this book. I'm loving it so far!!

This story is so tragic so far. There have been a couple of things in here that I don't think add to the story and were wholly unnecessary. But I am invested and looking forward to seeing where this story goes.

Juliet Marillier is a masterful storyteller.

So far I'm not super impressed. This novel just doesn't feel fully fleshed out for me. Also the words "erm" and "vertebrae" are repeated far too often. It seems like mostly what they do is party and sometimes train. I'm hoping that the next 34% is better.

Ok. I think I'm starting to love this....

So far, I am really not understanding the hype for this book.
