This is fantastic.

I'll finish this but it's cheeks. Characters suck. Throw in every trope imaginable. Just going from place to place on random side quests. Some super cringey beat-you-over-the-head themes.

Not sure what I think of this. There's definitely some good here in I like the mystery/conspiracy plot that is going on, but there's also some really eye rolling stuff you see from time to time in modern fantasy books.

This is what space opera should be. Unbelievably imaginative, crazy worldbuilding, complex political scheming, great action, interesting characters.

I wish I had more time to read because I can tell this book is a banger.
