Forever reading books about women at dog parks in the hopes I’ll find another Big Swiss.

I might actually throw up if I keep reading this.

I think I’ve said “UGH!!!” out loud more times than any other book I’ve read.

Started strong but the pacing is…not great.

Whatever happened to the kindle formatting for the arc of this is making it unreadable—I can either read the pdf on my phone 💀 💀 💀 or dnf. choices!!

All of the short chapters ending in cliffhangers are reminding me of reading Goosebumps.

I pay enough attention to pop culture to know that I’m not supposed to like Lena Dunham, but I don’t pay enough attention to pop culture to know exactly why I’m not supposed to like her. Really enjoying not knowing what I’m supposed to hate about her because I’m loving this book.

I’m afraid I’m in the minority in terms of how I feel about this book 🫤

This would be such a better book if the protagonist were anything like a real human instead of a one dimensional walking plot device. 🫤

Ok, if the premise of the book is “stalking victim starts stalking her stalker,” I feel like we should be in “stalked has started stalking” territory when we’re 2/3 of the way through the book.

I might be home with my sick kids for the 13th day in a row, but I’m getting so much reading done.

Anyone else have a hard time mustering the right amount of empathy for people who are this rich? Just me?

Did everyone hate this? Yes. Am I reading it anyway? Yes.

This book is really scratching the itch I have to throw my phone in the ocean.

Currently in my “women in a stagnant life crisis temporarily move to the woods to take care of their aging/dead parents’ homes and discover otherworldly phenomena that sheds light on personal childhood trauma and loss” era. Also see Hemlock by Melissa Faliveno, which I’m reading simultaneously.

Ok, but this could have been a short story.
