oof idk it's still well written but I just didn't sign up to be in the head of a psycho asshole. I wish the author hadn't introduced a new protagonist so late in the book. The change Juli is going through feels a bit forced to me too.

i have this strong feeling he's going to die at the end of this and that makes me very sad bc i do love these two and there are ways they are good to eachother but honestly at times he's very toxic :/

I'm like almost non-stop crying. Depression is really well represented in this book and it gives me flashbacks to my youth

300 pages in and the plot is kinda picking up and it starts being interesting and exciting. jesus

tbh not in the mood to read anymore after these past disappointing books :c anyone have any good recs? I really do not want sterotypical characters, weird teenage slang and cringy spicey scenes. I like anything fiction, mystery, thriller, fantasy...

The last chapter was really hard to read. Hollywood is disturbing. I honestly feel so bad for Jennette. She had no one to protect her.

I'm not fully sold on the writing style. It's a fascinating read, although it's sometimes full with unnecessary details, and other times it's missing in depth and feels a little one-dimensional.

Although we don't know much about Takkan, I already love him lots. He's too kind. Also: the main character deserves so much better :c someone pls give her a warm hug.

Her birthday is soon and I'm thinking of buying her a book. She has told me that she really likes romance books especially in dystopian settings (magic and stuff is fine too). So now I'm wondering what I should get her...
The last book she really liked was "The Selection"... I have a few books in mind already but I'm so indecisive.
