I think this is the final book in this series for me. I can hardly get through this book. The plot is lacking and the relationship between Doc and Violet has been drug out for far too long. It’s too bad because the first book in the series was great. Books 2 and 3..not so much.

I'm rereading this book as I watch the HBO series about this case.

I only recently discovered this author. I cannot put her books down once I start reading them.

So far I've not been able to put it down.

Moving more slowly on this one than I do most books.

I doubt I'll be able to sleep until I finish!

Much, much longer and more detailed than O Pioneers! Cather definitely can't be accused of not developing her characters in this one. A bit long and over detailed, but I'm still curious enough to see what becomes of Thea.

I'd love to be able to finish it today. I'm intrigued to see how all the plot lines tie together.

Enjoying this second book in the series. Definitely isn't following the formula of most mysteries.

Making me lose sleep! I have a feeling there's a big twist coming in the plot...

So far it is a fun/cozy mystery. I love the main character.

Least favorite of the series so far for me. Looking forward to finishing this book so I can begin reading the first Sherlock Holmes book.

So far pretty good, although it is lagging a bit. Not as funny as the first two.
