The tea leaves got another almost-chuckle out of me. I don't know if the entirety of the double page is a joke, or just the last four "readings". Just the last four were "funny" to me, but the rest were as useless regardless. (Also, didn't read the rest, appart from the "history" bits. I'm so fed up with this book. I'm really working hard to fish out anything that might be remotely interesting...)

All about "different demons" you can identify to better fight against. The last one is Franck. "Don't listen to Frank".
But I'm skipping so many pages by now, there's probably a lot of shit I haven't spotted.

Another double page about what to tell your partner in bed. But even that isn't very interesting to read. (I just read a pirate erotica, so would be unfair to compare... But yeah. I suppose young teens might find it somewhat "edgy")

Okay, skipping through a lot (I'm DNF-ing it). But I figured I wasn't the target audience, as the book was probably meant for very young girls or tweens. BUT! There is quite a large portion dedicated to orgasms, sexuality, using sex toys (a full double page on choosing "the right broomstick"). So WTF is that all about? Who is the target audience? Certainly not adult woman, but not children either. Who is left? Men?

Dnf-ing this book. Still skimming through to read the bits about history, but this book will be historic: The first ever book I'm officially proclaiming as a DNF. I never DNF books! This book is truly magical...!

I'd admit, I'm skipping through that part. Too childish for me. "Stirring the cauldron" labelled as arm exercice... Playing quidditch... How witchy!

RAS. Only, I've stopped reading the "spells". Makes for a quicker read.

I'm getting a bit fed-up. It feels like you are weak for being feminine, and that you should shave your head, have fun with crazy colours, etc.

I've never worn makeup. That being said, I live in France, so it's not an issue or an act of bravery, as many of us can't be bothered with it. Yet, I still feel very feminine. Being feminine isn't just about "knowing how to wear mascara". WTF!

Unless you are a black person, shave your head.

"Getting the unnatural look". I don't like makeup very much, I wear it very sparingly, but not because I was told to do so. Quite the contrary in fact. And certainly won't try looking "unnatural".

I do like the idea of making my own makeup though. And the "potion-making" vibe I could get by making my own products, and feeling powerful by knowing exactly what is in it.

I'm surprisingly on board with a lot of this stuff. And then they say something like "we want to smash patriarchy, white supremacy, " etc. Here we go again...
But it's easy enough to read, with plenty of small chapters that are not overwhelming. It seems to make some sense so far. I just hope it doesn't go too deep into the "white supremacy" part of feminism.
