Christopher Taylor is reading Enter Ruinland (Dark Apocalypse Book 1)
I just finished Enter Ruinland and gave it 4 stars.Thought provoking as we continue to work toward artificial intelligence. The psychological aspect of dealing with a traumatic event, destruction of civilization and then having an AI give direction is written into this story and worthy of discussion.

This is an excellent story and I am looking forward to some time to finish this tale, because it is worthy of my time.

Brian has kicked this one into another plane. I'm frustrated that I haven't been able to finish this excellent read. My reading this has been like pouring a nice beverage and only getting the opportunity to place my lips on the rim before being called away. I'm thirsty... I will get the chance this weekend to take no powder mages for prisoners...

story moves along at a good pace... I'm liking it as I can relate with authors living in Japan. I lived there for three years, so I'm good with the world Virginia has created.

This is ridiculous. I am hooked into the story with the eager anticipation of good things to come after feeling the anxiety of characters being overrun with the brutality of war and disaster. This is a book that must be read by those that enjoy fantasy. The expanding world created by Anthony Ryan has brought back the term, "shock and awe." Wonderfully written it will break my heart to see this story end...
