This book has been on my reading list for a while. so far its pretty good. looking forward to finishing it.

Love this book! Even to the final chapters in captivated

Only 2 chapters left and I don't want it to end.

Dragon ball has been a favorite of mine since my childhood years. Although I have watched every episode countless times I have never read the actual manga. So, this year I decided to try and work my way through. So Far it is everything i remember the so to be. I am enjoying the read. For those that want to get into anime and or magnas this is a great one to start with. 😊

This book is so much to take in on so many levels. On the surface the story seems to be about a military society, a nation in constant war, and a young man left alone in the world to find his way. The book dives into choices, actions and repercussions. Is loyalty and dedication worthy your life? Is revenge with your soul? Is the cost of peace greater than the cost of war?

I am enjoying this book. It has to be one of the largest stories i have read. I like it but also feel like need a break. I started this 16 days ago, I'm on chapter 11 (out of 16) and still have 165 pages to go

I started this book because I did a Google search for African American authors in fantasy.
As I started reading the terms and world was very confusing. I spent a lot of time reading the glossary in the back of the book to understand. The story fall heavy on military training and society class structure but in the heart I found the story of a young man trying to define himself against odds. I'm loving every moment.
