I've read several of these "Christian education" books, but I'm thinking this is by far the best in terms of its breadth, organization and faithfulness to original writings by our Founders and other respected voices over the centuries such as the Greeks.

Very well done. The text is Mostly taken directly from various well known characters from our country's founding.

Reading it alongside my student, helping him understand not just the vocabulary but how and why Dane people responded to Nazi occupation in WWII, with unlimited themes to pursue.

Such rich stories within stories.

I'm rereading this so I can help the students I'm tutoring. Nice Nazi occupation survival story. Well done but not great. If I were a 4th grade girl I'd probably love it...

So well done, and so much fun.

I'm in the process of a reread of all the Mitch Rapp books. About 10 pages into this 7th one. Moves fast but if I get tired of the narrative I'll bail and go back to mostly timeless classics. Or the next Jack Carr novel on my list!

I read their original book called Love and Respect. Sent a shockwave through the matrimonial corridors of life around the world. Conferences sprang up, video classes appeared, workbooks for groups, etc. Now this book comes along with a focus on practical ways to verbally employee principles that we hopefully learned from their groundbreaking book and it's related curriculum.

I've read parts of this book before, and am going back through it again in greater detail and focus.

What a fun story and so well written. ❤️‍🩹

Slow going given it was written in the 1600s and has not had it's language updated to read easier. But it's not a race.

A staggering, true account of the most successful, decorated platoon in the war in Afghanistan. Raw, honest, terrifying and inspiring. Not since Gates of Fire by Pressfield has a war story been so well told. And this one is brutally true.

So much fun! 😁 Reading Burroughs is like riding on top of a runaway train! 😳😁
