Still enjoying my complete series reread after 20 years or so reading them all. They have aged well.

Fun and interesting reading. What an amazing writer

I'm so happy to be back in the hands of a master writer. Only 60 some pages in and I feel completely immersed in the story, even though not much of significance has happened yet. His writing is just that good.

This is a reread after 20 years or so. Have taught classes on this and it's such a great book on understanding prayer, spiritual warfare, and that God doesn't just do it all while we go about twiddling our thumbs fat, dumb and happy. But he has tied much of the accomplishing of his will on the earth to our prayers.

Pioneer of his best as I reread the whole series.

A bit repetitive, but that's likely a good thing. Great concepts to internalize and change is often not easy to do

Found at a thrift store. Great daily reader during morning Bible reading.

Slow going, but the rewards are hidden deep in this mine. Written in the 1600's and still relevant today. The challenge is in the small type and the antiquated language.

Wow! Highlight of the last few years of reading. This book has it all. True story that hits like a hammer and cuts like a knife. Had me in tears and even shouting. All done except the epilogue.

So well written. The intro is a perfect summation of how Germany came to become Nazi Germany with nearly the whole country fanatically following the charismatic mad-man, Adolph Hitler. Great, short history lesson.

Occasionally very repetitious, but it's the repetition with examples that help me internalize the concepts that are truly ground breaking in understanding and application

Written in 1662, and original language used in the current text. It's a bit thick and slow going but I'm enjoying the journey. So long as I don't tackle the complex text when tired😴 and without strength and clarity to preserve and remain engaged and alert.

Fun book. I love his direct writing style and sense of satire and sarcasm.

Enjoying this gritty, exciting retelling of the early days in Afghanistan following 9/11

Not my typical kind of book, but so many have raved about it I'll give it a try.

I've read several of these "Christian education" books, but I'm thinking this is by far the best in terms of its breadth, organization and faithfulness to original writings by our Founders and other respected voices over the centuries such as the Greeks.

Very well done. The text is Mostly taken directly from various well known characters from our country's founding.

Reading it alongside my student, helping him understand not just the vocabulary but how and why Dane people responded to Nazi occupation in WWII, with unlimited themes to pursue.

Such rich stories within stories.

I'm rereading this so I can help the students I'm tutoring. Nice Nazi occupation survival story. Well done but not great. If I were a 4th grade girl I'd probably love it...

So well done, and so much fun.
