You're losing me here buddy

That plot twist is craaazy, but i kind of suspected it

Things are getting intense...

I've heard a lot about the Windy City series and Liz Tomforde, and honestly, I’m way too lazy to read the whole series, so I just picked the book with my favorite trope and the one that sounded the most fun. It ended up being this one, and I’m excited to dive into this universe! If I end up liking it, maybe I’ll check out the rest!

This is my first Jessa Hastings book, and I know she has a huge fanbase and a lot of people love her books and writing style… but I guess it’s just not for me, at least so far. I’m finding it a bit boring, and the writing style feels kind of all over the place. Still, I’m not planning to DNF it just yet, because there are things I do like about it, and I’m hoping it gets better as I go.

Ugh, I'm enjoying this so much so far, i can feel my heart getting heavy tho since this isn't just a fun silly little romcom (which was my first impression) but has a lot of layers and family trauma...
I love how mature and graceful Emma is, and Justin is just such a green flag, but what i love the most about them both is that none of them is perfect and they've both been honest with each other.

Aaaa I'm obsessed! I literally can't put it down, I'm fighting the urge to ignore life and finish this in one sitting

Dude, what is even happening?!!

I'm about 20% in and absolutely loving this so far!
I don’t care what anyone says, I love Maya. She’s in her early twenties... let her live!

As for Conor... he’s definitely coming off a bit condescending and rude (so far), but I get the appeal. He’s hot, broody, and has that cold older-man-with-an-attitude vibe, and let’s be real, who doesn’t like that?

Virgil's so hot and mysterious but very condescending and annoying, and Howard is an old creepy weirdo...so far Francis is the only decent man

Loving this so far, istg if anything happens to any of them...

I don't mind long books...but it was never that serious 😭😭

Watched the movie a few days ago and loved it, and decided to read the book and use being able to speak french to my advantage
