This is a great book full of battle conflict. Be it fighting the master of crows trying to preserve lives and keep Violet safe or battling one eyed monsters and freeing hostage's. It is a very difficult journey to find Sophia, Kate and, Lucas's parents

They both love each other but he is putting her through the wringer emotionally and she can't bring herself to tell him the truth of it all that would completely change the attitude he has towards her. It is all a huge misunderstanding on both of their sides. This book is fantastic and is full of emotional and romantic suspense.
