soft DNF at 30%. Very insta love and I can't get past it 😣

This is reminding me why I was Team Jacob. DNFing at 35%.

I think this would have been great as a novella, but for a 600+ page book, absolutely no. I read the original 4 books multiple times in high school and loved them, so I really wanted this to be special. This is way too long to spend in Edwards head on a non-stop loop of "I'm a monster", "Bella is so helpless", and more insta-love than I remembered. Sigh.

I had such high hopes for this based on people who have recommended it, but I'm going to need to soft DNF at 35%. These characters and the story as a whole feels flat. Something needs to grip me to make me interested by now and it hasn't. ☹️

Guys, this is SO bad. I had a lot of hope for it because I enjoyed Quicksilver. DNF sadly.

I need to slow down on these DNFs. 😫 Almost 30% in and it's so bad. The authors tells you everything and shows almost nothing. The amount of times the FMC does something and the immediate sentence after is "I did this because...." omg

I desperately don't know if I wanted that to happen. I am so torn 😭 #foreveraWillgirl

But also WHAT WILL HAPPEN NOW

"shadows can only be seen in the presence of light. I worry when you leave, there will be no one left to see me" 😭😭😭

This basically just turned into what feels like the author trying to rewrite ACOTAR. Whyyyy is she doing this

I think I'm going to pretend that B&B is a standalone 😭

I think I'm going to pause at 37% and try picking up something else. I don't hate it, but we're over 200 pages in and nothing is really happening. I loved the first book and can't figure out why this one isn't hitting...

Am I in a slump or is it this book? 😭

The fact that this seems like a traditional fantasy world yet they have tv screens and security cameras is messing with my head lol
