This book is cracking me up lol

I feel like I’m on a slow climb to somewhere scary lol either dangerous or heartbreaking or both 😩

I feel like I’m at that point where my heart is about to get chopped into a million little pieces and I’m nervous to keep reading

What is happening 😩😭😩😭

“I’m on a great adventure and one day I’ll find my way home.” 😭😭😭

It’s not that I don’t like romance in a novel, it’s that writers are lacking in what romance should be. But THIS.. oh I’m already swooning 🥹

“Your offender doesn’t have enough in their finite account to pay you back” 😭😭 oh it’s good, Yana 😭😭

I always enjoy a Jess Lourey book 📖

I feel like I’m sitting in the quiet tension between grief and not quite hope yet. But somehow you just know hope and healing are on the horizon. In retrospect, I’m certain that the hope and healing won’t look like I (or the characters) expected.

I’m loving it. Very much invested in Audrey and Eve’s lives.

So so good. Daunting to think about these real events happening in Tennessee. I am absolutely certain these types of things happened all over the country.
