This book is excellent. Gives chronology of the docs whe used early treatment and the many obstacles they faced.

I like the training schedule recommendations as well as workout definitions.

Yes, it's a long read but so engrossing. The chapter introducing the 1812 conflict is very thought provoking.

It is an easy book to read. Chapters are short, there's just a tone of them. It is very captivating after reading about Napoleon's invasion of Russia. It's fascinating to get an inside look at how Russian's viewed the events of this time.

Excellent read. It was published in 2010 and we are still in Afghanistan! I still haven't figured out McChrystil. There are aspects of him that are admirable but he's also very ambitious to succeed and his work in Iraq sounds as if it was horrible in terms of the kind of killing he did.

This book was the source for the Netflix original War Machine.

Great read, very captivating stories with practical advice.

In Chapter 8. This is a pretty good book. It's got a fair amount of science in it. Written in the first person mostly, it tells the story of an astronaut stranded on Mars. It takes place in the near future where NASA has a large manned mission project. Only thing I don't like is a fair amount of course language among all the characters.

About half way through. Good read as usual, very different setting in Texas near Abilene.

The Starglider (although just a literary device for Clarke's atheist rantings) is non the less a fascinating idea. It makes sense that this would be the way that aliens would attempt to contact and learn from other life forms in the universe.

Cool book I found by browsing Amazon Kindle SciFi section. The premise is that a guy in the 21st century finds an incredibly advanced alien spaceship in a junkyard and gets involved in an intergalactic war.

Really good read. Can't put it down easily. Watched the movie last weekend and decided to read the book.

shocking up close look and analysis of China's Opium problem at the start of the 20th century.

A nice ending that kind of raises questions about politicians and how they come to power in a free, multi-party government.

The last part of the book goes into the effects of war on economics.

Really enjoying this book. Teaching economics in using dystopian fiction.
