I fvcking haaaaate this boooook. Snoozeville.

Here’s how I know I’ve been reading too much filth: This is my third time reading 1984 because it’s one of my favorites and yettttt I cannotttttt get through the first 4 chapters 🤣

Not the direction I thought this was headed, but I am enthralled.

I probably could’ve finished this book 3 days ago, but I cannot help but savor it.

I feel the same about this book as I did Harry Potter… I just know in my heart I will finish this book sad knowing I’ll never be able to read it again for the first time.

It’s giving Divergent.

Offered as an “autumn” read at my library, the cover reminded me so much of The Seven Year Slip i couldn’t resist. It’s just as whimsical, and well written (so far)

Already enthralled.

Took a break to read my book club book.
I want to love this. But I don’t.
However, I do love Ove. So i probably won’t DNF but it will probably take me so damn long to finish this.

Love the imagery. Not a huge fan of the characters. Let’s see how the next few chappies go.

This book is terrible. But Book Lovers FB group tells me to persist as it gets incredibly good. So I shall.

Finally through Part I. It’s not the book’s fault; it’s my fault my life never slows down. But every time I’d pick it up again, I’d be 2-3 sentences in and crying. Heck of a start. Love it so far.

shelving this for just about a week or so. not because it isn’t good but because i have 3 books to read for book club/book club retreat/owe one back to the library.

I’m very grateful for this book. “The Women” left me with a reading hangover and what could’ve been a deep depression, without the hilarity and charisma of Dave Grohl on my side.
