Chapters three and four are better than chapters one and two.

So he spent the first chapter talking about how infants are terrible sinners and he learned that he was a terrible sinner from the day of his birth by watching other babies. The second chapter is spent telling us how he was uniquely sinful in that he sinned for the sake of sinning and he cannot think of anyone else who did so.
