Either the author thinks her readers are stupid, or she just doesn’t know that you don’t need to say the quiet parts out loud all the time. I’m still intrigued with the plot, but the writing…no.

I thought Tana French would make her female protagonist a little less misogynistic but apparently not. I know I’m basically not supposed to like the characters but...come on. I’ll finish it though because the plot has its hooks in.

On god I have been reading this book for like 2 years. I like it! So it doesn’t make sense that it takes me like 8 minutes per page.
