Trying to finish this book 3 years after I dropped it at 30% only to remember why I dropped it in the first place. The writing is so annoying I wanna die.

This book is so good and honest. Listening the audiobook narrated by Jannette herself broke my heart, it has such a crude and dark humor and at the same time tries to not alleviate the seriousness of the events and the toxic relationship she had with her mom.

So... Nothing happened yet? Almost 1/3 of the book passed without they meeting and with too much details about their lives before the quest. Was it really necessary? The people reviewing this before publishing actually thought ''well that's a great use of 130 pages''??

Somebody please tell me in which chapter Maia beats Lady Sarnai's ass off, I need it for self care.

I'm not really enjoying the reading until now, it feels like all the information given is repeated several times, sometimes in the same chapter. Like how the queen can't have children and couldn't have the crown, and literally 2 pages later the protagonist eavesdropped a discussion about the same thing been brought up.
So many information beeing repeated but nothing cool happened yet.

Esse livro tá tão... chato.
Tudo bem que tá me acostumei que os livros da Krista e Becca Ritchie não tem grandes plots e são focados mais no desenrolar do romance, mas nossa eu n aguento mais n ter plots realmente interessantes. E o que deveria ser um dos centros do livro e que tá na sinopse (Alguém desconhecido descobriu o segredo dela e tá ameaçando expor!) Foi jogado pro lado e n teve desenvolvimento nenhum ainda

O Ryke flertando com a Daisy tá me deixando TÃO DESCONFORTÁVEL
Eu sei que eles viram um casal mais pra frente, mas nada tira da minha cabeça que ela tem só 16 enquanto ele tem 20 e poucos.

Eu gosto mt do Lo mas ao mesmo tempo tô odiando ele pq ele é muito imbecil com todo mundo, inclusive com a Lily, por causa da bebida.

Ok, não consigo mais. Dropei.
Sinto que uma adolescente de 13 anos escreveria uma fanfic melhor do que isso, esse livro é só um "O CEO e a virgem" sem nada de novo com uma escrita que dá vergonha alheia, mas para não ser mais da mesma coisa a autora muda os nomes dos personagens para deuses gregos e tcharam! Tá pronto o livro ruim.

Promises were made about this book, but until now I don't think I'm enjoying it so much. Their relationship is so cute, but the absence of descriptions and deep narrative is annoying.
Patroclus is kinda dumb and sad and poetical but at the same time he keeps his thoughts so straight forward, I still don't know if he is a perfect narrator or an awful one. It's different.
