I read the original transcription of Sojourner’s speech and I’m glad I did because why did Frances Gage have to do all that? Fun fact she never even said “Ain’t I a Woman?” and she also would’ve had a Dutch accent. Anyways love her basically asking men if women are so much weaker why are they so afraid to give them rights HA and they still don’t get it 🫩

Took me ages to read chapter four because I was in disbelief every few sentences. Reading from Kennit’s perspective is so interesting but TERRIBLE my heart was just breaking (not for him)
