I said I wouldn't read asoiaf due to it being unfinished (possobly forever), but fuck is it worth it. Finished the first section for my book-to-screen bookclub and it's amazing to read the source material for the show. I'm sold on Martin in just 200 pages and I'm going to have to restrain myself from starting next week's reading early.
