I bought this book to read "The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas" did that quite a while ago. I've finally picked it up and read the first story, "Semley's Necklace". I can tell you , Ms. Le Guin has taken my heart out and crushed it with this story. It's a simple story of a quest and a journey, but poignant. What's more you, the reader, see the plot building up to its inevitable denouement. She can certainly write.
