I was expecting modern parallels, but not the amount I'm seeing. Seems an addendum for the USA will be needed before long.

This is probably my 5th or 6th reading of this book and I love just as much! Glad to have revisited it.

Man, Larsson has waisted no time setting the tone and direction of this book. As always, I'm hooked.

Holy SHIIIIIITTTT! No sense in being mild about my enjoyment of this book; it was fucking fantastic. I'm now so dependent on the drug that is The Millennium Series that I no longer care to seek help. Only the next book in the series after a moment to catch my breath.

Honestly, holy shit. This is exactly what I feared and yet I'm shocked. It's hard to shake myself from Larsson's trance-inducing style.

Joe Hill does a really good job of keeping a constant sense of tension. This is my second book to read of his, and the constant feeling of being at the edge of a cliff is done in such a fun way. Certainly looking forward to the resolution here and more works by Hill.

The story is coming together now, but even at 28% I still have no idea what the point is. Will there be one? The writing is mostly dry, but I'm interested enough in finding out where this goes to keep reading. Really hoping this doesn't disappoint. That being said I'll continue to maintain my deliberate lack of expectations.

Still so hard to put down

It is SO hard to put this book down. Having to charge my Kindle is a blessing in disguise.

The end of Chapter 4 is where you get a sense of the direction that the book is going.
