I like this, but all of these characters are so annoying

If this book focused more on the actual plot than bickering between the characters, it wouldn’t actually be half bad. But it doesn’t, so unfortunately, it is half bad

There’s a literal war happening and people’s lives are on the line and all Violet concerned about is how hot Xaden is while simultaneously being “mad” at him

Violet is so obnoxious

This is already WAY better than Songbirds and Snakes. The callbacks, both to Songbirds and the OG trilogy have me obsessed already
