Liking the plot, not so much the execution

I am confused…

Told myself I would not like this book more than the previous ones but….

This book was not easy to read. It mentioned many historical events that one kinda gets lost in all the numbers. On the other hand, I do not think one can write a book about the tension between Palestine and Israel without mentioning all the guerrillas and the lost lives throughout all these centuries.

It was interesting to read it through the American politics POV and how much these have impacted the war.

I believe this quote summarises the book pretty well:

"With the rise of anti-Semitism in the United States, Europe, and elsewhere, Jewish people everywhere need and deserve solidarity with liberals to survive. But if that solidarity comes at the expense of another people, it is ultimately self-defeating."

The lemons are too cringe

Is it just me or does the term “girlfriend/boyfriend” sound too juvenile for the genre of this book?

If anything this book is great to fall asleep.

This book had me giggling and grinning uncontrollably. I devoured every page, completely unable to put it down.
