Amazing. I’m loving this book and learning so much more about the Vietnam war.

Remarkable story. It is told so well that you feel you are there

Everyone should read this book. People have so many preconceptions about sexual abuse victims and Virginia’s telling of her story is so raw and honest and revealing. I also see the purchase of this audiobook as a way to support the other victims who are waiting for justice.

I cannot wait to hear this book. I love Jen Hatmaker and I’m only on Chapter 3 and she has already nailed purity culture.

Oh my gosh. Every American should listen to this. Every make politician in particular. Even if you aren’t pro choice, you should listen to this. It’s free.

This has taken some patience to stick with but now that she is getting traction, I’m glad I stuck with it. Having an alcoholic family member, this is really helping me to understand the hamster wheel aspect of this disease. And I have listened to or read at least 40 books on addiction.

This guy is the male equivalent of Frieda McFadden. Hint to James- pregnancy tests are always taken FIRST THING IN THE MORNING NOT LATE AT NIGHT, DUDE. And this woman sounds like a fire breathing dragon, not a smoker. Do you have an editor???(

Well it’s good but Great Pyrenees do not have FANGS ( those are spiders and snakes and vampires) and would not attack a human. They are used to guard livestock. Authors, do your research and use the proper language.

Pretty enthralling.

I’m enjoying listening to this one. It’s a nice light enjoyable book without being overly silly. I find it’s difficult to find adult books that can be “ light” without being ridiculous. This book does this very well.

Well I listened until an old innocent blind woman got bludgeoned. Then I decided I just didn’t want to hear anymore. It might be a great book but I just cannot handle that kind of violence. Ugh.
