OH MY GOSH. This is one eye opening book.

Ugh. I’ll make myself finish but it’s like listening to a conceited Valley Girl narrate a book.

OMG!!! This book is a HOOT!!! Don’t listen or read anywhere you don’t want to laugh or bark out loud.

Really good. The narrator for Courtney needs modulation lessons. 😂😂😂

So I guess I’m a super picky reader/ listener because I’m the person who says “ what form of food poisoning makes someone sick for nine days and causes them to have skin lesions like leprosy and WHOSE hospital job would believe such a stupid excuse?” Im not loving this book.

Everyone should read this book. People have so many preconceptions about sexual abuse victims and Virginia’s telling of her story is so raw and honest and revealing. I also see the purchase of this audiobook as a way to support the other victims who are waiting for justice.

I cannot wait to hear this book. I love Jen Hatmaker and I’m only on Chapter 3 and she has already nailed purity culture.

Oh my gosh. Every American should listen to this. Every make politician in particular. Even if you aren’t pro choice, you should listen to this. It’s free.

This has taken some patience to stick with but now that she is getting traction, I’m glad I stuck with it. Having an alcoholic family member, this is really helping me to understand the hamster wheel aspect of this disease. And I have listened to or read at least 40 books on addiction.
