Enjoying the cinematic tone and aesthetic (perfect for a visual reader) but I'm not very gripped by what I've read so far! I hope i find the second half more interesting

I'm not sure if this book is very solid in it's plot, but the worldbuilding and experimental structure (almost poetics) of KSR's writing is something that I'm really enjoying and something that I think makes up for what's lacking in the plot. Loving the stuff on AI! So interesting to think about. I've gone down the rabbithole of researching quantum computing now 😅

slow reading month for me 😅 I like these characters but wow swan can be a pain in the ass lol

I love how KSR speculates on how art/spirituality/culture/rituals might evolve with a space age

I didn’t expect this to be making me laugh as much as it has! And I didn’t expect it to be a new favourite too but I’m feeling it’s going to be!

Le guin is forever unmatched
