Okay so, there’s an old, white unicorn who got caught by the circus. There is a witch that makes others see her as a white mare.

The Iliad, Ulysses, Lord of the Flies, 1984, The Great Gatsby. 🤓

I’m now interested in the others, The Colors, Metamorphosis, The Draconic Labels, Anabasis, The Count of Monte Cristo, and Casterly’s Penance.

It’s a Simple and Cold read. Fun concept. Similar to Hunger Games. I’m interested to know how Darrow usurps the powers that be. Does he turn into a gold?

I wonder if Eo dies and that’s what motivates him to rise 🤔

I love this book

Ender seems un-phased by the judgmental remarks of the mayor. I remember this mindset… One i would like to find my way back to.

This Mr. Orson has the most descriptive way with words. Nova’s character is in love with Libo, but cannot be with him because she thinks that the knowledge that he will have access to through that marriage will kill him via murder from the Piggies. There is a secret that the Piggies hold. Something that they are ready to kill for.

I’m barely into this book and i can already detect themes of leading with compassion and understanding. You can see the influence of “The Art of War” in this book as well. Love love love

This book is challenging me to be more Christ-minded. It’s challenging me to think of my challenges as whetting stones for my spiritual self. ✨

I love the open transparency Faith demonstrates in her chapters about her relationship with her husband and trusting God for His provisions.

How cool… and weird would it be to be able to talk to yourself about your shared experiences. The ones both of you had at the same time. From the same body. Even the most private, intimate memories, and thoughts and feelings behind those memories.

How weird to have the SaME EXaCT MeMoRiEs from one singular body.

I like how this character brings herself back to stasis with grounding techniques. Closing her eyes, taking a moment, breathing deeply, changing her perspective to how someone else might see things. It’s nice to see these practices used in a book like this
