to add the blurb about meeting medication metrics for given diseases—that’s to reduce costs. It is fact that all things status quo, someone taking mediation to help their illness is going to be less costly than one not taking the medication. There will be less er visits etc…

Definitely some inaccuracies in the book … Insurance companies make more money when members are healthy in the commercial space. They get to keep the premiums and not have to pay claims for someone being sick. Unhealthy people are what make insurance companies lose money. The Medicare space is different.
