I continue to be fascinated to learn the history of Christianity. I waited far too long in my life to read such material. It is so helpful for understanding the world we live in and the faith we hold so dear.

This is not a good book for audio. It is too detailed in its arguments and explanations. Buy it in print and take your time to read it.

So far this book is interesting and has some good points and life lessons. As the author notes, it is written by a regular person who has stumbled and bumbled their way through life until they were motivated to make changes. In that way it is very relatable. However, it is also imprecise and written with less care in the theological arguments than I'd prefer.
