So far this book is interesting and has some good points and life lessons. As the author notes, it is written by a regular person who has stumbled and bumbled their way through life until they were motivated to make changes. In that way it is very relatable. However, it is also imprecise and written with less care in the theological arguments than I'd prefer.

Every Christian needs to listen to or read this book in order to understand the problems with going to unbelievers, whose minds are darkened, for help with issues that God addresses.

This book is easy to read and full of wisdom. I would definitely recommend it as a great gift for men. It is challenging and thoroughly biblical. It provides clear direction on what a godly man is and does.

This book gets better with every chapter! I just finished the chapter on loving your wife and it may be the best chapter on this topic I've read in a long time. It succinctly and thoroughly addresses how to love your wife well.
