everyone in here is actually so disgusting rich it’s sickening, it’s very well written but oh my god the title wasn’t an exaggeration

Reading this for my lady in the hospice center. Turns out she’d read it before, but she forgot what happened, so wants to keep reading it. So far she really likes it and is interested in who did it. I share the same sentiment.

All the political stuff is so fun to read omg

The lady said she liked the ending a lot. Everyone was happy, and the book makes you think. I like that they finally talk it out and sort things out and seem happier by the end of it. It was a good read, and I enjoyed reading it aloud.

Things really got dramatic. So much more drama than I’m used to reading. I’ve finally settled down on my weird British accent impressions. The lady I’m reading it too said, “I don’t think she should marry him. Nope. Not at all.” And that basically summarizes this entire section. As usual, the writing is superb, though.

The characters have settled and the drama is super interesting. I like how they’re realistic and flawed. The lady I’m reading this book aloud to is also very invested in the story. She quite likes it a lot. I have fun doing half-British half-American-Southern accents while I read it.

Started reading this because I volunteer at a hospice center, and the lady I’m providing companionship for wanted to read an Agatha Christie novel she hadn’t read before. So I went down her bibliography, reading out the titles. When I read this title aloud, she wanted me to read this one. Funnily, it was a subject matter she could relate to. We both liked it very much.

Harrow’s sudden switch in characterization makes me partially sad because it really does feel like it’s going to fall into the stereotypical trope of tsundere love interests

Interesting world-building. Gideon isn’t a narrator I usually enjoy, but it’s interesting nonetheless
