I give thanks for how the Spirit continues to move so richly through McFague and her relentless care for words, the world, and our place in the cosmos. Grateful for the insights she left to us in this world that longs for renewal.

I have had this book on the shelf for a while and have enjoyed the devotions offered by the OurBible app (many of which have been adapted as chapters here). Excited to pick this book up and read the testimony of fellow deconstructionist/reconstructionists!

Read a chapter while in seminary and was deeply moved by St. Clair’s perspective. Given our movement into Year B of the Lectionary (all about the Gospel of Mark now), it seemed about time to read St. Clair’s full treatment.
