I’m in the middle of reading romance books with less spice for my teenage daughter and her friends, and this was super cute. It’s a twist on *Tangled* while still staying true to the feeling of the Disney movie. Ren & Fitz were sweet to read, and you can tell the authors are genuine fans from all the little details throughout the story. Overall, it was a quick summer read that I’d definitely recommend!

This isn’t a cozy motherhood story. It’s told through Blythe, a mom who feels something is off with her daughter, while her husband keeps insisting everything’s fine. The book sits in that uncomfortable question of whether Blythe is right or just losing it, especially with mental health and baggage mixed in. It’s not a happy story, but it’s different in a way that really stuck with me.
