This is a tough read. I applaud the author for taking on human trafficking and not sugar-coating it at all…it’s brutal, the book is brutal and the descriptions of what happens to these women, girls and boys is brutal.

“He stalks people for a living, so I suppose it’s no surprise that tendency has bled into his love life.”

Yep, I am so conflicted over my feelings for this guy, this book. But I have to see it through

This is a long book, 804 pages. I have read the acotar series by this author and LOVED it so I won’t complain about long. I didn’t want those to end… THIS book starts out with world building, found family, prelude to romance, then a HUGE unexpected thing happens… I am hooked

This is so good! I like the dual pov because I am getting a better look at Raine. He has a lotta splaining to do! The pov that follows his thoughts are needed and appreciated.

This is intense, addictive, I can’t stop reading it
