Possibly the last Dracula update because I’m nearly there
-the men are so incredibly patronising which is crazy because the only difference between them and Mina is a formal education
-“How can women help loving men when they are so earnest, so true and so brave!” Mina, girl be so for real right now

Three thoughts:
-gender roles are going bonkers rn
-the way theyve written Van Helsing’s broken English is irritating
-calling all children it is crazy work

Intention was to read a lot this week but I’ve done a lot of sitting in dark rooms instead

Not enjoying this!

I fear this really was some elaborate prank by a marketing firm

I have got to get round to reading Jane Eyre!

I’m starting again with a hard copy because reading via email is kind of driving me nuts
