Part reading part dramatized audiobook (sfx and full cast).

Wonderful writing / translation. I like having to stop every now and then to look up a word - mostly Russian - but some English. This translator is a wizard at the English language.

I feel I'm going to love or hate this book, but nothing in between. Let's see... Audiobook really helping.

Switching to audiobook, no way to get through this much copy. It's 52 hours BTW.

It is dry in audiobook format, but still fun. Lots of vignettes. So many names.

Super-dense, will be a slow read. Thanks for character list and glossary.

These names are hard to follow... so many characters...

Good ol' Brandon - more of the same. But in a good way. I now see that huge chunks of Stormlight Archive are remixes of this series. But it was all supposed to fit together so no big surprise (or blame) there.

Oh Sanderson... this appears to be the one where his editor gave up on brevity.

Promising. They seem to have found the right mix - a unique locale that less mysterious elements combine with a mix of old and new characters. Willing to kill some old ones too!
