I’m practically 40% through the book and I still don’t have a clue what’s going on or what the plot is supposed to be.

Bartleby the homicidal pothos ivy waiving pocket knives around amuses me to no end.

Christmas’s heir plotting a coup against Santa for the betterment of the other holidays is not where I saw this going but I am so here for it.

It’s already 10x better now that the Halloween prince is on page.

Hearing Athena say “she all but asked for it” fills me with absolute rage. Maybe that is the point.

I'm not sure what it is about this book that makes it so easy to read compared to others like M. Miller. Maybe it's because it focuses a lot on individual interactions between characters rather than historical retellings and descriptions. It flows well and I feel very attached to the characters.

20% in and we’re only now meeting the Halloween prince? There’s been too much blathering and set up and not enough hot smooches. I want more hot smooches. And yearning. YEARNING I SAY. Hmph. I will keep reading.
