I used to love the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, but reading The Beast now and The King last year doesn’t hit the same way anymore. Maybe it’s me changing as a reader, maybe it’s the tv show influencing how I picture the characters (which I didn’t love). Either way, the magic I once felt with this world just isn’t there anymor 😔

The first time i tried to read ACOSF i dnf it, now on 2nd chance I like it better, so let's see 🤞

I just wish there was more plot in this book. All that fucking and sucking and I was still bored as hell! How?!😐
Around 210 pages I had enough and decided to DNF the book.
