This guy is all over the place! I’m having really mixed feelings about this story.

I first learned about this book from The Ben Shapiro Show (episode 2311), where Ben had interviewed the author, Leland, about the book. It was fascinating to hear a little about his story there on the show! What stuck out the most to me from that interview was his father’s determination to “adapt [Leland] to the world, rather than the world to [Leland],” so I’m very interested to see what that entailed.

I’m getting pretty tired of how submissive and conflict-avoidant the main character is.
