Ugh. Tedious and predictable. I cringe as I read!

Glad I stuck with it. The first part was almost too much ... too stereotyped too lesbian-focused too trying-too-hard. But after the first section it gets better, with more depth and I am seeing and appreciating the connections. Only about half-way through, but now I am hooked.

Paused reading because it was becoming tiresome. May go back to it later.

Why is it so hard for me to read non-fiction? I keep trying to read this book and can only manage a few pages at a time. Also started reading fiction at the same time: Ask Again, Yes by Mary Beth Keane and can't stop reading.

Well I tried reading non-fiction this summer and just couldn't read more than a few pages at a time. Switched to this book and I'm back to staying up too late to read "just one more page"!
