trying to explain this book is not doable. it feels like a good omens skit, the way they “meet” in different timelines (as they do not meet, but rather exchange hidden letters in the form of whatever place they are)

but the character development seems most clear; they’re warming up to one another

slow and steady grows their rivalry

hmmmmm i wanna savor this book so bad hmmmmm…. anyways it’s somewhat darker than i expected. maybe not in the characters themselves but the setting theyre in is somewhat uncanny

the start is already VASTLY different from any book i’ve read so far. i have high hopes from all the anticipation i’ve given myself for this book.

still a little confusing when you mess with time but i think it’s just a matter of getting the hang of it

read the first chapter in the store while waiting for the train so i’m just marking it. there’s already little teasers of something of memory loss and that kind of stuff so im intrigued to keep reading, but not intrigued enough to buy it so we’ll see..

very much enjoying a light read!

this book is written very simply and kind of reminds me if The Color Purple, only it is written in the shape of poetry, and makes for a very easy read:)

I love this version of Shiz University more than maybe the movie version. the movie version is nicer but lacks the morality that the main friend group has. I think the books puts a much more important emphasis on the politics as well

i like that baby elphie is just just a silly little menace i love her sm. and the unapparent storm that happened teehee. everything is slightly different from the movie so it feels like a more intriguing and in depth version of the characters and this world
